I used a Gateway card a long time ago. Now I wanted to follow Plais A9LH Guide, but there are some errors i got frequently (Can't downgrade to 2.1, decrypt9 won't recognize my emuNand). I heard that Gateway is sometimes the cause. I created my emuNand using Gateway and I backed my Nand up using Gateway. Does anyone know how to fix these issues/ remove Gateways code from the 3ds

Have you used a Gateway to downgrade to 4.2? Other than that, based on what you're saying, your Gateway NAND dump and your GW emuNAND are the same as whatever Decrypt9 or emuNAND9 would give you, so it's not the source of your problems.

f you are still wanting to use your games on your red gateway 3ds cart than DONT follow the guide, i did and now i have no way of accessing my games on GW.
I wish i stayed back on 9.2 or 4.5 and use HBL or DS exploit

I have Standard A9LH, per the guide, and since GW released a compatible a9lh.bin... I have had no problems using either of my GW Red Cards....

You should backup your data and start from scratch so uninstall anything Gateway related that you might have installed, format your SD card with Emunand9 (complete RedNand setup, to follow the A9LH guide later) and format your console
Then do the A9LH

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

can you provide some step by step instructions on how you did it? Thanks in advance
Just use the arm9loaderhax.bin file that Gateway provide on their website

black screen on boot after replacing Launcher.dat and arm9loaderhax.bin with gateway files, what else i can try?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

You also need a screen-int a9lh, that you should have if you installed a9lh recently
what is screen-int a9hl? and how do i get it or install it? Thanks

If the end user still wants GW compatible emuNAND at the end, I'd recommend to just use emuNAND, rather than redNAND. They're the same, really, save for the couple of megabytes that redNAND saves you.

Okay thank you :) I didn't downgrade to 4.2.

I thought I could use the GW A9LH together with a Luma3DS-A9LH Setup by renaming GW's arm9loaderhax.bin to something like "down_GWMode.bin" and place it in /Luma/payloads folder, so that when I boot while holding down I boot into Gateway Mode/Menu.

Unless you follow GW instruction on how to install their A9LH in whitch it will make your 3DS married to the GW Red cart, than i dont think there is an easy way to load GW mSD games from Luma3DS. every try i did result in black screen.

maybe you will have a better luck than me. but i am about to use safesysupdater to install fw9.2 back to sysNAND/CFW "sys 11.0.0-33U"
