So i came into possession of a 64gb card, which i want to use in place of my old 32gb card. I already installed A9LH on my New 3DS before with updated sysnand, so its at the 11.0 update. What do i do to upgrade?
Do you have an EmuNand? So i came into possession of a 64gb card, which i want to use in place of my old 32gb card. I already installed A9LH on my New 3DS before with updated sysnand, so its at the 11.0 update. What do i do to upgrade?
Just copy everything. If you had an emunand before on the previous sd card just flash it to the sysnand with hourglass9So i came into possession of a 64gb card, which i want to use in place of my old 32gb card. I had an emunand before i upgraded to A9LH and to a sysnand cfw rather than emunand, does to work the same way?Just copy everything. If you had an emunand before on the previous sd card just flash it to the sysnand with hourglass9
now you have what?I had an emunand before i upgraded to A9LH and to a sysnand cfw rather than emunand, does to work the same way?
Since you are not using emuNAND all you have to do is copy the files over. But make sure the card is FAT32 formatted and not ExFAT. Windows' built in tool won't format cards >32GB to FAT32 so you'll need GUIFormat or the official SDFormatter if you're on Windows. So i came into possession of a 64gb card, which i want to use in place of my old 32gb card. 1. I believe so idyll have certain files in both but WHY?hey i am planning on using a9lh for my 3ds and have a few question about it, here you go:
Sorry for the noob question i am very new to 3ds scene, and thanks
- is the sd card switchable? i mean i have some game in one card and some in other can i keep both game or do i need to copy from the old one to the new one?
- (i don't know if this is apropriate here) i downloaded a xenoblade chronicles 3d cia file from somewhere and it state that you must use an exFat formatted sd card, but Real Jdbye says But make sure the card is FAT32 formatted and not ExFAT. is it possible to use an exFAT formatted sd card? or is it possible to play that game in a FAT32 formaatted card?
i don't think this is relevant to my question but i'll just write it here, my system is n3DS

2. And that's impossible, all roms are the same unless modified
1. Welp I don't know I give use it for another device?
- i am planning to buy a 32gb card first but maybe i will buy another card if the first one full, so rather than having i.e 64gb card with the same game but some 25gbish free space and an obsolete 32gb card why not add a different game in the new one. is that possible? what file do i need to copy if i want to left out the game and only take the necessary file for the cfw?
- but it is stated there that it need to use an exFAT formatted card

1. The necessary files to run A9LH are listed in Plailect's guide (part 5 at the very bottom of the page). Keep these files and folders on every SD card you're gonna use.
2. exFAT is not supported by 3DS, AFAIK. Save yourself some trouble, and format your card with emuNAND9. Then copy your xenoblade cia, and install it. Should work no problem.
Yes, but make sure you have the right SD card inserted before you launch a specific game. You'll have to keep track.so it is possible for the first question, right? i'll try that for number 2 thanks
thanks everyone for the answer
Yes, but make sure you have the right SD card inserted before you launch a specific game. You'll have to keep track.
This, I'm afraid you'll have to experiment for yourself, as I use a single card. You're not gonna break anything by trying to launch a game not on the inserted card. Just switch card and you should be fine.ah right i forgot to ask this if the card for the game is not inserted is the game icon still on the menu? and if i were to delete a game is the save file deleted too?

Save files can be backed up. There's a tool for that, which I can't remember the name right now. JK save manager, or something like that.ok then, and about the save file thing? i always use cartidge till now so i don't really know
