So what is it this A9LH is all about and how can I do it with GW?

I am using menuhax to boots straight into emunand, where should I go from there?

install a9lh using plailects guide and then use the arm9loaderhax.bin that gateway provided
do not use a9lh gateways implementation because your console will be forever married to gateway and you will not be able to do anything about it so if you lose your gateway card you will be fucked and im not using commas on purpose to piss off all the grammar nazis looloololololol

to keep it simple

you get kernel access right after boot. so your boot process is much faster.
and you can upgrade your sysnand to the latest without loosing homebrew ability.

Gateway has a special A9LH (all code stolen!)
that setup works flawless on o3ds but not on n3ds!

i tried it myself... took me around 15 minutes to setup... super easy .. super fast!

theres an open source method (you should use that!)
you can do far more with that...

gw a9lh will only boot gw card... (high brick risk on downgrading btw)
open source a9lh will do all!

edit: yeah... those things above..
my o3ds is lost to gw.
i will try to fix it asap but i dont know if i suceed.. maybe i ll end up bricking my device lol

basically excactly what I said minus some useful information (the arm9loaderhax.bin for gateway cards on existing a9lh systems)

I think I had brick my O3DS.

Everything when smoothly but at part 5, after I followed the instruction and Copying RedNAND data to SysNAND, when I boot the 3DS it shut down immediately.

How mess up I am now?

P/S: nvm, I figure out, forgot to copy back file after formatted. Silly me.

Ok you are almost there remember when you get to the part where you put "arm9loaderhax.bin" on the root of your sd card replace it with gateways

yeah, apparently it too late now. I already remove the rednand.

How much backtrack should I do if I want to fix it?

Where are you in the guide ? You have done everything right ?
Then just change the arm9loaderhax.bin (of luma3DS) to gateway one. (or just put your gateway card on your shelf and dont use it anymore)

Did you boot in to luma after the guide? was it working? if so to setup gateway to chainload! Rename the arm9loader.bin to up_gateway.bin and put it in the SD:luma/payloads directory on the root of your sd inside the 3ds. Then if you hold up while powering on your 3ds you get the GW menu. Don't hold anything to start luma. You do get a nag screen. follow instructions on screen.

Further explanation of the Payload chain loading feature

Payloadchain is related to Luma3DS ? or is it a feature available before the CFW is booted ?
I believe it has to do with a9lh, if not then yes luma if you HAVE a9lh

I agree you should try listening above.
