While I don't know why the installer isn't running, you can delete the save data from your SD card (through a computer; navigate via the Nintendo 3DS folder). Just be careful, and back up any files you delete.

For me, the installer ran fine with save data, but the hax itself didn't load when I had a save file in the first slot.

And when you say "humblehax installer it instantly freezes", what exactly do you mean? Do you get a yellow screen? A black screen?

I already tried to locate the savegame folder, but without success... Can you tell me how to find it?
Here http://www.3dsdb.com it sais "Citizens of Earth v1.1" (EUR version) has the Title-ID 0004000000136E00. How can that help me to find the correct folder?
I already googled for help to find the folder. And checking all files via pc (Windows 10) didn't show me any files that were edited at the date I saved for the last time in the game...

And it freezes absolutely instantly ^^'
When I "click" the installer (or press A) the background of the homebrew launcher stops moving and nothing else happens...

It should be
SD:Nintendo 3DS>[longnumber]>[longnumber]>title>00040000>00136e00>data>0000000x.sav

What entry point are you using to access the HBL?
Edit: My bad, you already said OoThax. Strange, I installed humblehax via OoThax on a EUR 10.7 console myself, and it worked fine. Are you sure that you have all the proper files in the mmap folder? Can you check?

Now I deleted the 00000001.sav file in the folder you mentioned. It was the only file there (and I only had one savegame in slot 1 + the autosave). (I didn't delete the folder.)
Then I retried to install the hax - same result.
When I now start the game it seems to be corrupted. Black screen, white text - Error occurred, try to restart ... (Tried it 2 times)

I have the mmem in sdmc:/mmap from v2.1 of salt_sploit_installer from https://github.com/Dazzozo/salt_sploit_installer/releases
000400000012C100.xml
0004000000136E00.xml
0004000000149B00.xml
0004000000174400.xml
0004000000174600.xml
I redownloaded it and replaced it again - same result.
(I also used the boot.3dsx of this archive.)

Now I also deleted the "data" folder.

And then I deleted the installer files and did everything again with v2.0 ... still the same result. Here are only two mmap xmls:
000400000012C100.xml
0004000000136E00.xml

Now I replaced the boot.3dsx with this one: https://citizens.salthax.org/boot.3dsx
and again... still the same. :(
Would it work if you give me your installed savegames or have these files to be peronalized in any way?
I'm really running out of ideas.
More info: the N3DS is the older limited Zelda XL edition that came with majoras mask and I use a 32GB micro SD. My 3DS and I are german. ;)

Strange.
I'd put the save file back for the time being.

The SD save files are tied per-console, sadly.

Same as mine.
It's strange, we seem to have done exactly the same method, but yours doesn't work at all and mine works fine.

Honestly, I don't know what's wrong. I'm sorry I can't help more.

Putting back the savegame in the given folder made the game runnable again.

I tried some other things like using more of the savegame slots or starting the game with a corrupted file instead of no file, hoping for the game resetting it's state, butnothing worked.
I really don't get what's going on here...

Seems like I have to wait for smea update the payloads for the oothax...

But I really thank you for trying to help me so much and fast!

Btw. how did you know where to find the save game? ^^

No problem, sorry I couldn't help.

I knew how to find the save game because most games store their saves on the SD in the same way.

Seems as though the installer has its issues. It's a shame it's not working for you.
Waiting for an OoThax fix seems like the way to go.

Does this work with v1.1 of the game?
I had redeemed my Humble Bundle code, but didn't install it since I already had 300 titles.

I just deleted a game last night so I could download this one.

Booted it up for the first time and it says v1.1 on the title screen.

Not sure if I should waste my time with this or not.

I'm quite sure mine is 1.1. I only ran the game once to initiate the save, so I'm not entirely sure, but I do know this game was patched sometime after it first came out, so that should be the one Nintendo pulled. I.... can't check again because it was humblehaxed, and removing it removes my only entrypoint, so.... anyone else can chime in?

Yes, it does. v1.1 came out over a year ago.

OK, cool.

I guess they just de-listed it so you can't buy the game if you don't already have it, but if you already have it and it's just not installed, you can re-download it. :D

The game is still available in the JPN eShop.

Question I have a JPN N3DS but I'm on 9.9. Theres no way to go to the eShop and buy it on 9.9 right? I have to update to 11.0?
But If I update to 11.0 since its a secondary HAX I wont be able to install it?

If you already have homebrew you can use httpwn to access the eShop on 9.9 (maybe, I'm not actually sure if it works on firmwares that low).

At this point, you can only install secondary hax on 11.0 by using freakyhax, or, by installing SMChax (Super Mystery Dungeon) with the 11.0 payload via another 3DS or before updating.

All in all, I'd advise against updating; better off being on 9.9 without humblehax then on 11.0 with humblehax, as being on 11.0 cuts off a lot of opportunities for hacking (downgrading, few entrypoints work etc.).

Will the SMChax work with Sky3DS+, I mean with the Pokemon ROM in the Sky3DS+? And lets say I install the exploit on 9.9, If I update to 11.0 after installing it on 9.9 will I still be able to use the exploit on 11.0?

1. Yes, it should work with Sky3DS (maybe doublecheck before updating though).

2. Only if you install the 11.0 payload.

Ok Thanks! Oh I see on your Sig that youre using the VVVVV Hax on 11.0. Its the same as the Mystery Dungeon one?
(v*)hax has the same principle as SMChax and humblehax; you install them with the 11.0 payload before updating your console to 11.0.

However, like Citizens of Earth, VVVVVV is no longer on the eShop.

No problem.
I loaded the Homebrew Launcher with NinjHAX. But when I going to run the SuperMysteryChunkHAX says that I'm missing the title. I\m guessing thats the game that need to be inserted or what did I did wrong? And if its the game how do I do it cuz I have a Sky3DS?

I don't own a Sky3DS, so I don't know. But by doing a quick Google search it seems that it should just install normally.

Enter into homebrew launcher with the Sky3ds+ card (via Ninjhax). Find the icon for supermysterychunkhax installer, press the icon to install it. In the installer you will be prompted to select the appropriate version for the system and then the selected exploit version will be downloaded and installed.

I've also seen people around the forums who have installed SMChax with a Sky3DS normally.
