I have just traded my 2ds for this xbox 360, and it comes hacked, I can play burned games.(Not from hard disk)
I'd like to have some suggestions, as I never owned that console.
1 How can I see the type of hack that is installed?
2 Can I play online?
3 Can I install DLCs?
4 How to burn games?(and are 4 gb dvd good)
5 If the hack is outdated can I update it without needing to solder wires?

1 With a X360USB but its probably Flashed Dvd Drive with iextreme
2 With the newest custom firmware
3 Only payed DLCs from the shop
4 DVD+R DL 8.5gb
5 X360USB
And can I install a custom firmware without soldering or without x360usb? I have the 17349 dashboards.

Ok, thanks. On some burned discs I can read 3.0, so do I have an iextreme 3.0? Is it the latest firmware?

For all your flashing needs, you need Jungleflasher.
it comes with a detailed manual on how to flash it.

Burning games, you'll need Dual layer Verbatims.
For XGD3 games, you'll need an hacked iHAS burner or a burner compatible with the Burner Max Payload tool.

Ok thanks, anyway as I don't know anything about these things I'm going to ask a simple question: I have downloaded fallout 3, it's a xex file; if I buy an 8.5 dual layer dvd can I burn it with imgburn? (And I think that I need to convert that xex file, but I think that I will know how by googling it)

.xex Files are for Reset Glitch Hacked Consoled, you need a .iso, or a way to pack the extracted content back to iso.

RGH -> Extracted Content - Game On Demand
LT3 -> .iso Disk Image
All Optical Drive Emulators -> .iso Disk Image

And what's the difference? Sorry for the noob question:P
XGD3 and XGD2 are the disk formats that Xbox 360 games use. XGD3 is the newer one that increases the usable space to 8,5gb which needs overburn instead pf 7,5gb which not needs overburn and adds extra anti-piracy protection to the media.

OK, so will fallout 3 work if I burn it with imgburm on a DVD+r dl disc? It's the only thing that I want to ask. I checked and it has xgd2 protection, so I think that I'll be good to go.

XGD3 is the 8.5 GB backup and XGD2 is the 7.something backup.
Your DVD drive needs to be compatible with the burner max payload tool.
Don't truncate or overburn games.
This will produce bad quality backups and will lead to a flag+ban/unbootable media.

XGD2 and XGD3 games both need to patched with ABGX.

Edit: burning XGD2 games can be achieved with any DVD burner.
I still highly recommend getting Verbatim DVDs
