Cant find any info on what to use to update beyond 9.5 for the n3ds.. only the o3ds

Being on 9.5 with Luma is weird, he must not have a9lh ? is it safe to update like that ?

Edit: forgot to say that you must search by serial, and don't forget to select JPN as region

Great, was able to find it. When I click install though, it says "title created" right away , but the game still asks for an update.

Are you sure you are in "install cia" mode ?

I would suggest to select "create cia" mode, then install it from FBI.

You don't need a9lh in order to update your EmuNand...

Seriously. If you're in EmuNand, go into System Settings (Check that it says "Emu 9.5.XXX), and update normally. It isn't some complicated process...

Install mode should work in ciangel, i just suggested an alternative solution to your problem.

Hey, I'm just wondering why not all games show up when searching by name. Conveni Dream, Infinite Dunamis, Dragon Fantasy, Phantom Thief Stina, etc. (tons of them) aren't showing up in a search. I just installed the program a few days ago, and wings.json just updated a few hours ago.

Note that I'm not complaining, this is a great program!

Unless somebody buys a game and adds it to the database, it will never show.

It does... But not in the way you think. The eShop is just a front end for the CDN or Content Distribution Network. The eShop just handles all the browsing and images and Purchasing. The eShop then sends info to the CDN to start the download.

What CIAngel does is use the same title keys, or passwords, as the eShop does to access the CDN directly as well.

So what this means is as long as somebody has purchased the game they can share these passwords with other people and they can download the game too.

If everybody contributed by buying one game that wasn't there and contributing the title key, we'd have every game available pretty quickly :-)

It's "the first", ui isn't as pretty but gets the job done, includes dlc and patches in the list of available titles, automatically updates the wings.json file so you don't have to dig around looking for the title key db. I wouldn't say one is better than the other, one is just prettier, I was too busy adding features to make a pretty ui.

I noticed that too. I wonder why that's happening. I used to get everything from there. :/

Probably a question with an obvious answer. but is it safe to download off Eshop after getting a ticket off this?

Getting stuff from Nintendo off their own turf just makes me feel a bit cautious.
