Hardware Suspicions on an 11.0 downgrade video

If you watch the video you can clearly see the man blue screen the device and somehow getting oothax to work
and ive tried this multiple times with my hardmod although not this exact hardmod it should still do the same
(I would think) and I asked him before I installed my own hardmod how this worked and he stated getting the blue screen allows it to work but he has disabled comments sadly :/

So what I wanna know is how he did it or even if I get it to work if its even safe to directly downgrade from 11.0 to 9.2

He most likely downgraded his FIRM before he made the video, since he didn't show anything before the bluescreen.
That's an interesting board he has there though. I wonder what it is, it's clearly not a regular hardmod.

Anyway, on topic, yeah, this completely requires a hardmod and these people are advertising for their hardmod+downgrade services in the description.
Obviously they don't showcase boring stuff, just the fact that see, it works, come buy their things.
