Introduction

Hi guys here I bring my program to insert roms in the virtual console nds, it is very easy to use just enough to put the rom on the same program directory, run and voila, we have a game injected ready to use in loadiine GX2 .

Use

- We just have to copy the .NDS file in the same directory where the executable .

- We open the executable and it will detect the file, and injected so that is functional for loadiine .

- The game will be injected, remain in " ROM LISTO" folder , just copy to the SD and play .

Characteristics

- Only injects a rom at once, it will detect if there is one , more than one or if there is , and will continue to depend on this.

- Works with any nds ROM.

- Create the meta folder.

- Leave loadiine directory with the same filename.

@ranses-12- i'd like to know which game you use as a base
i have original Yoshi Touch & Go and Yoshi's New Island, and their hachihachi_ntr.rpx is 1 407 488 bytes, yours is 1 543 104 bytes, so i guess its from some game which was released later than yoshis

I haven't downloaded this yet since I use NDS2WiiU but if this program is similar to NDS2WiiU, you don't need a base.

I'm not at my pc so cant test or see. but does this also use a base rom that can't be changed quite like nds2wiiu or can I replace what's inside the base folder with my own dump? ( from what I see from the video is it uses a base rom folder)

I did use zelda phantom hourglass files (but not the rom, only the rpx)

How do i get the games to show up? i put the folder in the games folder, but didnt work.
My bad, i copy the folder with the games in it, i was supposed to copy the folder with the games in it the program makes, tested sonic rush, works good but doesn't look so well even with the screen smooth. Also funny the game manual send you to legend of zelda phantom hourglass manual lol. Now only if the vc games use wireless local play with real 3ds or online play from nintendo network.

Is there a way to use save files from emulators or flash carts or even actual game carts with virtual console?

Also has anyone tried this with DS homebrew rom files for stuff like flash card? It would sound silly but just a idea. NesDS emulator on DS on Virtual console on WII U LOL.

I'm pretty sure you have to come up with a BS id for the game and rename the folder to have it in it's name, for example "Pokemon Platinum [BN20TE]"
That's how I got em to show up for me
Ihad found the prolem, i had copied the folders to the wrong folder, which i had fixed. Also, is it possible to use save files from DS Flash carts with the games on wii u?

Yes, you just grab the .SAV file from the saves folder when using VC in Loadiine, I think the same applies to N64, although I haven't checked which N64 emus are compatible with the VC saves.

The "meta" folder can assist you with that.

Example, a 1280x720 image of the Super Mario 64 box art. Should look like this:

maxresdefault.jpg

1) Convert the image to TGA format.
[I use my own program for this, but it should not be hard for you to find one.]
2) Create the "meta" folder and insert this newly created TGA image into it.
3) Rename the file "bootTvTex" and leave it as is.
4) Insert "meta" folder where your Super Mario 64 game is located.
5) Place into SD Card where all your other Loadiine roms are.
6) Enjoy.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
