as I heard that it takes about 256 GB SD and some users said that max is 32 GB
So who tried larger than 32 GB Please confirm

I'm currently using a SanDisk Ultra 64GB and it's working fine.

EDIT: would like to know if it supports higher capacity, myself, as I'm not exactly satisfied with what I have right now

Yes, it's compatible with bigger sd's. You just need to make sure it's formatted to fat32. I personally use a 256gb sd.

The only people that are limited to 32gb are the users with EZ SHARE wifi SD adapters.

How did you get all 128GB to show up with FAT32? I have the exact same card (Lexar 128GB Class 10 633x microSDXC) and it came formatted as FAT32ex. When I insert it into my Windows 10 PC, I see it shows up as 120GB of space (FAT32ex). However, when I try to format it as FAT32, it only shows as 23.2GB of space. I've tried SDFormatter and FAT32Format.exe, and everything shows 23.2GB of space. I also have a 64GB card and it's the same way. What am I doing wrong!?

Sounds like a fake or damaged card where did you buy it?

I purchased from BuyDig.com. I also have a 64GB Transcend card I purchased from Newegg that behaves the exact same way. Seems unlikely that I would have two that would be the same. I'll try a third...

Format the 128 card in SDFormatter4 with Format Type - Full (Erase) and Format Size Adjustment - On. Once it finishes run the card through H2testw and do a write + verify test for all available space. Post the results here.

Ok, I did as you said and formatted using SDFormatter4 with the settings you suggested. Here is the H2testw results:

Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 16.3 MByte/s
Reading speed: 20.6 MByte/s

You did a write + verify test on a 128gb SD card in 2 hours? Are you using USB 3.1 slots?

I figured it out. My USB Card reader is old. I tried it using a newer USB 3.0 card reader and it formatted properly right away. Sorry for my ignorance and hopefully this will help someone else. Thanks!

There is no 'maximum size', although the SDXC format currently supports up to 2TB so the Wii U should theorietically be able to support this.

In reality, larger capacity sizes are slower and cost more per GB. Most if us are using 128GB cards because they have a good price-per-GB ratio and are pretty cheap (around 3800 yen here in Japan, around 17 quid in the UK). Some people here use 256GB cards with no issues.

Looks good. Just make sure you format it to fat32 before you use it.

I'm trying to use a 128gb Samsung SDHC but so far it is unreadable... Is there something I need to Know to use it? I've already formatted to fat32. Does it need anything else? To load Homebrew from browser it needs only "Homebrew" folder in Wiiu then apps folder... Right?
