ROM Hack Is it possible to access eShop without updating 10.7?

I checked the forums and there doesn't seem to be an answer to this. I'm looking to access the eShop without updating to the 11.0 firmware. Is this possible? I do not have any hax which is the unfortunate part

No. I'm on 10.7 and I was going to try and get the VVVVVV game and try and exploit it. I have no hope for hax right now lol

If you are ok with spending some money then you could buy a gateway once a9hl is a thing.
