ROM Hack How do you switch Super Smash Bros 3DS Language to JP?

I'm using the US version, I used NTR CFW and put langemu_Jp in the game's titleid folder, but the game still emulates English

The langemu_Jp plugin file should work just fine if you use the JP version instead of the US one, since that one has japanese in it but uses the language your 3ds has as default.

The problem is that even if you use that American and European Super Smash Bros. for 3DS don"t have Japanese language in it"s files, curiosly Japanese Smash Bros. for 3DS have more languages in it files; I thought that what you can do is to modify RomFS so some files are from the Japanese game and use that with NTR CFW.

American/European Smash only has English/Spanish/French/other European languages in them, but not Japanese.
Dairantou Smash Bros. has English and Japanese. Save data is transferrable between regions. Just install JP Smash and use a language emulation plugin from Luma3DS, NTRCFW or HANS.

Will DLC also get transferred? And how do you transfer?

DLC isn't part of the save data...
and just use something like SaveDataFiler, JKSV, or SVDT.

Export save from your current game.
Since Super Smash Bros. US and Super Smash Bros. JP have the same name, look at the bottom screen. The one that ISN'T 000400000B8B00 is the game you EXPORT from.
And then, go back to the games list and select the OTHER Smash Bros., and then select import.
Make sure you play Japanese Smash at least once before swapping save data.

Also, since it's taking up space, how much blocks is the English version? I want to delete it

I wonder, why not just make an undub version?

I bought Smash and its DLC from eshop so I don't really want to have to download an entirely different region CIA just for the voices when I could just extract the one I have, modify and reinstall.

No I did it with the emulation and it worked. Without the emulation plugin, it will simply default into the system's language.
