Edit:
Solved:
JK's SaveManager worked

Original:
Here's my problem:

If I start svdt set on Ridge Racer 3D (CTR-P-ARRP), it'll freeze with a yellow screen. Both retail and self-made CIA (made with 3DS Simple CIA Converter) don't work.
Restarting didn't help. Other games like New Super Mario Bros 2 (CTR-P-ABEP) work perfectly.

My system:

Old 3DS
Patched SysNAND Ver. 11.0.0-33E
CakesFW
Starting svdt via CIA version of the Homebrew Launcher

Cool! You might end up sticking with JKSM even if it doesn't solve the issue, as it's more user friendly than svdt IMO. :D

the grammar tho :rofl2::rofl2: added to my sig

I know that you are 16 but, please, grow up a little bit. And your English is not perfect either since you mix up "involve" and "evolve" for example. ;) He just forgot a "be", which is not as bad as you think.

a9lh also know as arm9loaderhax is a hack which allows you to run cfw before your 3ds even boots. the other(and worst solution) is called menuhax, which evolves exploiting your 3ds at boot time in order to load your cfw at emunand which is a partition in your sd. a9lh doesn't need that as it patches the sysnand(the nand of your 3ds ) at boot and it offers brick protection, which menuhax doesn't. I would install a9lh as it's a better option nowadays and it's fairly easy https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki

Worked great! Thanks. And you're right. It's way more comfortable.
But the 300 coin feature is the killer! I thought I would need to develop a Cakes patch to get that.

ahaha, good one. really, if you can find someone who's 16 and is more serious IRL i'll be surprised ;) .
And english isn't exactly my native language, although I speak it quite fluently IRL too.
And also, I'm a grammar nazi just for the lulz but that doesn't mean I meant to harass the member, just to make a joke :)

Yes, the coins feature is a nice plus! As a side note, if you want a homebrew app where you can set a specific coin count, you can try Play Coin Setter. There is a CIA version out there on the Internet if you want to give it a try.

Glad that you got the save issue sorted! :)
