Hacking bought a used japanese 3ds, weird "present icons"

so the first 2 images were the result when I tried opening the "present icon" on the home menu http://imgur.com/a/gTSTm and I don't know how to read japanese text. Can someone translate it? does it affect something if I tried to install A9lh on it, should I reset the 3ds? it would be awesome if someone would also read the remaining japanese text, I am curious thanks!

So. What you wanna do is I think click on the package then click B then click A.... That is what I remember on how to uninstall them. If it doesn't work then I reversed it.

I can't read Japanese, but if you were to install A9LH, it would not affect anything (if you follow the guide w/o errors) also, you get the option to region change it to English (USA) if wanted

It's a download in progress.. looks like the past owner did not finish downloading from the eShop.
If you want to complete the download, close the 3DS while it's connected to the Internet.
If you want to stop the download, I think you can do it from the HOME Menu or from Data Management.

Also, if you want to translate Japanese text, it's possible to use Google Translate:

If you have no idea how to type hiragana/katakana, try ABBYY FineReader to capture text from the screen

I'm not sure about that, but if you can't download on 6.x firmware, you can do your a9lh setup to download on latest firmware...

can you undestand the remaining japanese text? I am just curious I also bought the 3ds+pokemon for like around ~$30 and it seems like the past owner did not played anything on the 3ds

Just keep in mind it will only read plain text on a solid background. If there is a picture in the background or if it's graphic text like you would see in a logo or the main menu of a game, it probably won't read it.

you might want to format the system and start clean
then do a9lh on it
