As the title says. I'm setting up my O3DS to ship out as soon as someone buys it. I removed the emuNAND (so I can set it up fresh). Before I did I didn't unlink my NNID and now when I try to use my New 3DS (Version 11 Luma3DS EmuNAND btw) it says that the accounts already being used or whatever message it gives you. :P

I bet you don't have a backup of your emuNAND, so you'd have to phone nintendo and tell them some story on why you can't unlink your nnid from the old system and that you already got a new system.
If you still have a backup of your emuNAND just set up your sd card and use your backup to unlink it.

Yeah I'll have to call Nintendo....shit. :hateit:
Thanks for the help, though! :)

What exactly do I tell them? Like is there a cookie-cutter script I can use on them?

Yeah just tell them that your 3ds got stolen / lost and that you can't unlink them yourself. You'll have to provide some info about the nnid though :P

Just tell them you sold it and forgot to unlink your account. They'll ask you questions like the color of the old and new system, your username, etc. It'll take two business days to get the account back.

It sounds like you still have the o3DS so you can just set up another emunand and login with your nnid, then transfer it to your N3DS. I wiped my o3DS emunand plenty of times in the past, even my sysnand, but the nnid is registered to the system itself (via serial no. iirc) so I could always log back into my nnid without a problem. (so long as you didn't actually "delete" your nnid when you where on the 3ds, that deletes your account completely, you gotta use the transfer tool)

I did the same thing when I gave my o3DS to someone. I wiped my emunand, made a new one and signed into my nnid again before transferring it over to my N3DS using the transfer tool.

Don't know if things are different now, not sure why they would be, but that's how I remember doing it.
Hope it helps at all.

Don't tell them it was stolen, they'll start asking questions about police reports
I highly doubt they would do that.. but if they did you could always say you didnt go to the police. People dont always go to the police when things are stolen from them. Its not against the law to not report a crime that happened to you.. or didnt.. lol

I'd still suggest trying what I said, or at least trying to login again on the o3DS sysnand, if you updated sysnand when prepping to sell for whatever reason.

It'll save a lot of time over trying to convince Nintendo to transfer it from their end, when you should be able to easily do it yourself, again assuming you still haven't actually sold the o3DS yet.

I tried saying it was stolen, and they would refuse proceeding. Different operators at different times of the day.

Thats outrageous. I know its been hypothetical and imaginary this whole time..
But what if my 3DS is stolen, and I need my NNID and paid games back?
Nintendo gets shittier every day.

What did they say about that?

Oh well.. You can always try later again.

Wait but it's going to delete all of the installed games on my New 3DS? If that's the case I'd rather call Nintendo with some BS story.
PS: There is no NNID on the target system.
edit1:I'm just gonna try formatting the emuNAND. :P
edit2: Nope. Nevermind. It gives you a warning that you MUST system transfer. ;-; I guess I could backup SD content on my target system and then re-add it. ;-;
Edit3: That's means I'd have to re-add the CIAs, doesn't it? Fuck that. Yup. Callin' Ninty. Those bastards.
Edit4: Actually I might make a new NNID I dunno. xD I feel like Ninty is gonna give me a struggle.

Update: Well neverfuckingmind apparently my New 3DS XL is bricked? I didn't even touch sysNAND at all but the 3DS blue light comes on when I hit the power button and the screens stay off. Nothing happens.
Edit: Taking DS Flashcart fixed this nevermind....What? :rofl2:
Plans are still a go. I was terrified though. xD
