Would you know if I would need to be worried about installing cia files with no cfw? (Have DevMenu, BigBlueMenu and FBI on the 3ds that would be transfered)

Worse thing that could happen is the CIA either wont install to sys, or will crash trying to boot once its there

Sorry, I posted this somewhere else and forgot to mention this. I tried to downgrade my console but when I did they gave me an error and then it soft bricked my console. Now the only way to fix it is to go into recovery mode and update to the latest firmware

You now have some options:
1. If you have a NAND backup, try to get someone to hardmod it and try again.
2. Update if you don't want an extra brick in your room.
