So i followed this guide (https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-transfer-emunand-to-another-sd-card-working-on-new3ds.383684/) to transfer my emunand and all my homebrew files to my 64gb sd from my 16gb. I followed it to the end but when i pop it in my n3ds it says "could not detect a microsd card". i've done the guide over 3 times and it still wont work. Funny thing is when i put in the sd before doing step 6 to see if it works it actually does perfectly except obviously i dont have any space :/. I've resized the partition in mini aide fat 32 and ease US yet it still wont work....help ;-;.

It reads perfectly and even boots into homebrew in the 3ds after i restore the backup data from my other sd. But right after i resisize the partition like the tutorial says it stops working and the 3ds says it cant be read

Wait, try reformatting the whole card to fat32 64kb clusters than launch hbl than emunand9 and create a fresh emunand partition on the new card. You could than use emunand tool to extract the emunand off the old card and than inject it into the new card. I've had problems resizing partitions on the past and can't recommend doing it that way!

i see, sorry i'm a bit of a noob. after i dump my emunand how would i inject it into the new card?

Copy the emu_ nand.bin ( I think that's the file) to the new card and use the emunand9 tool to inject it into emunand

i'm just getting a black screen from emunand9. Could i use decrypt9wip instead?

In emunand manager options, backup emunand to file. After your done dumping you gotta copy it to your new card and use the restore file to emunand.

If you got the emuNAND backup, do what I did when I switched from 8GB to 16GB SD card. First copy everything from your old SD card to a safe place on your PC, put the new clean formatted (FAT32) SD card with Gateway Launcher and homebrew menu with GW.3dsx on it, use sliderHAX, go to Gateway menu and use Format emuNAND, after that close the console, delete everything on the new SD card, and use "emuNANDTool_1.0.3" to inject your backup to the newly created emuNand partition, and then copy back your SD card content to the new SD card, and it should work, good luck:yay:

you need to format an emunand partition to the new card first. Copy over all the files to the new card and format emunand on it. I think formatting will wipe the files so once thats done you'll have to re-copy al the files including the nand.bin and then restore it while using the new card.

so basically after i format an emunand partition to the new card i'd copy over all the files from the old card to the new card. then format it again, then recopy everything plus the nand.bin and go to homebrew and restore it while i'm using the new card? sorry for all these questions but how would i make a new emunand partition i have ease US partition master so i guess it has something to do with that
