Hacking Possible to patch out DSi mode on DS roms for Loadiine?

As you know it's possible to play custom injected DS VC games on WiiU through Loadiine.
However, some games mainly the Pokemon Black and White (1/2) series have a DSi check when they boot and will not work on VC because of it.

When the games first got dumped i remember seeing that the DSi mode wasn't dumped and it wasn't a proper dump because of it.

My question is, is it possible to take away the DSi check so we can play them in Loadiine/VC?

I'm not sure... but I don't think it's a simgle file that runs the check, at worse (and most likely), it's a code string

You should he able to find copies of the roms that have the dsi enhancements patched out. My copies of black 1 and 2 are patched without dsi mode.

Do they run in Loadiine as injected VC?
Also, has anyone tried DSiWare titles in NDS format?

I'll run a test later. They definitely work on my flash card, and that refuses to boot any dsi enhanced games.

Doesnt work, Guy sent me links to patched out dsi rom, I got the files out the nds rom and replaced the rom.zip from pokemon pearl and it hung on a black screen. I think thats how you you do it anyways. Anyone else wanna try be my guess

I think I have all 4 main DS Pokemon titles working with a non DSi flashcard.
I have Heart Gold, Platinum, Black and White 2, I might try to injected later today to see what happens.

Did u find a fix for this? Or a rom which isnt the dsi enhanced version? Dying to play pokemon black on my wii u.

I wasn't able either... Hope @ShadowOne333 was able to do it, and he shares it with us!

I dont think is possible because DS and DSi are different architectures (not confirmed by me), sadly. I still don't know why Wii U doesnt have a DS emulator even on Retroarch

I haven't tried any of the DS Pokemon titles in Loadiine to be honest, but from what I remember some years back, I think DSi enhanced titles weren't compatible.

Check the compatibility list, that should say if they work or not for sure.

I tried my selft and it didn't work... So probably it is what you guys say: it is simply not compatible.
