Hi :)
First of all, yes, I'm a big noob and probably didn't get all of what was written in various threads, I'm sorry for that.
But still, I'm wondering if it's possible at the moment to install a cfw on an old 3Ds with Sky3ds with 10.5.0-30E.
I know (at least I think so), it's not possible to install cfws on >9.2, so you'd have to downgrade, what's possible at the moment. But I haven't found a way that works yet, because my 3Ds can't load cias, that's why I need the pastacfw. So is there any way to downgrade and install pastacfw or somehow else install cias using Homebrew?

Thank you that's helping pretty much, I'm gonna test that^^
And downgrading works although i can't do anything with cias?
You can install cias (games/homebrew on sd card) once you get down to 9.2. You can also make a clone of your 3ds's firmware on your sd and update to the latest firmware (called emunand/rednand). You can install cias on this too.

The big advantage of cias is that it can be eshop as well as card games. You also don't need a private header to play online without getting banned.
The disadvantage of cias is that the larger ones can take up to 45 minutes to install. That's about it.

So, I tried to downgrade using the guide you posted. After about 40 tries of executing the SysUpdater it still froze either at the first line "Hax info" or an error message showed up.

Is it a 3ds error screen (bottom screen) or from the app itself? (top screen). I would skip trying to downgrade if it's the former.

If you're determined to make this work, try safesysupdater. I have no idea if that will help. I don't like either app to be honest.

It's a 3ds error then, so should I still try the safesysupdater or stop trying before something bricks?
Though, is there another possibility to import safe states from others (downloaded ones) without a cia app? Is there any Homebrew app that can do so, because the "save manager" i once had could export, but not import savegames.

Just wait a while. This Gateway time machine thing is said to work for everybody. If it's as stable as their last downgrader, you would probably want to use it instead.
