Hacking Problem with ds flashcarts on my new 3ds xl

When I insert my r4 (r4igold.cc) or the gw blue card, the 3ds doesn't show anything.
I don't think it's a software problem, as I have a 10.7 a9lh eur new 3ds xl with luma cfw, l2 and clock off.
The original ds and 3ds games are working on it, so it's not an hardware failure.
I heard that the problem could be the shape of the card.
How can I solve this?

But the flashcards are working on my 10.7 new 3ds and 10.7 2ds without that patch, that's strange

Use Luma3ds, and ensure you DON'T have a pre-patched twl_nand installed. (install fresh from a 3dsnus .cia or whatever).

If they're not displaying the icon on your 3DS when you have them inserted, it's probably a connection problem.

Issue: Delete CTRBootManager, or use PathChanger of Luma3ds archive

Just Use a Loader of Luma3ds.

I just set up my 3ds with plailect's guide, so I think it's just a connection problem, as the same setup on a new 3ds non xl works great

I think so, as the original games for ds and 3ds are working, all homebrews are working, and I don't think that there's a system title that will make flashcarts work(apart whitelist)
The system doesn't see the flashcart at all
