Hacking How do i change the name of my payload?

I'm on Luna 3ds with Emu 10.7.0-32U and to update to 11.0 and still have my HBL working I was told I needed to change the name of my payload. How do I change the payload's name?

hblauncherloader_otherapp_payload_OLD-11-0-0-33-USA.bin

Replace "OLD" and "USA" with whatever you have!

the payload is the file on the root of your SD card that should be called something like "hblauncherloader_otherapp_payload_OLD-10-7-0-32-EUR.bin". You need to rename it to "hblauncherloader_otherapp_payload_OLD-11-0-0-33-EUR.bin"

Actually, I think — unless you're on A9LH — you shoudn't need to change the name or anything. Did you say your HB was working fine? If it is, then don't worry.

My homebrew is working fine but i haven't updated to 11.0 yet. I'm still on 10.7. Not too sure if i'm on A9LH but i used Plialect's dowgrade guide https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-2-(Downgrading) if that helps

If you didn't follow the entire guide, then no, you're not on A9LH. Are you using CTRBootManger to boot into Luma? Also, just upgrade EmuNAND and see what happens. It should work fine.

I stopped at part 4 step 28 so i guess i'm not on A9LH. And i'm using ninjhax with that QR code thing to load into homebrew

If I were you, I would just go ahead and install A9LH using Plailect's guide, seeing as you don't even have autoboot installed. It is worth doing.

Oh and also here is another n00b question just to check through all of it.
if you are on a new3ds and your robinpayload doesnt have a version number then you dont touch it right?

Id actually been wondering what to rename the payload to exactly myself.. so thanks to everyone who was actually trying to help instead of just being know it all dicks.
