Not sure of this is the right area to put it in, not really good at determining what thread goes in which forum. But anyway here is the problem.

I run a 11.0.0-33 U 2DS console (A9LH exploited), and I dumped my cartridge rom of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gate's to Infinity so that i could install it as a CIA. I did everything the guide on the page told me to do save for using rxTools to generate the Xorpads due to my version, so I used the newest version of Decrypt 9 to do so. Then I take the rom and Xorpads and put them in the right folders and try to convert, though I get an error message about how it couldn't decrypt the Exheader and asking of it was the wrong Xorpad. I generated them again thinking they last ones broke or something with the same result. Due to my version I can't launch rxTools so I'm basically stuck.

Does anyone know what's wrong?

you should know 1 thing: claiming this("dumped my cartridge rom of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gate's to Infinity so that i could install it as a CIA") doesn't legalize any of your behaviors.

that would depend on what country the op is from like here in Scotland you are legally allowed to back up and play any game/cd/dvd ect that you own.

It's natural that you wouldn't believe that I actually have a cartridge, if you want I could take a picture and show it as proof. Though if it's illegal for whatever the reason where you live I understand, though I think the US allows backups of games you own.

May it be due to the system version 11.0? It's weird as I've never met this problem, but on system versions below 10.7

Well I do have a NAND backup of my system when it was on 10.7, so I can check. Though I'm currently in school so I can't do it at the moment.

That shouldn't matter since both uncart and decrypt9 run before the system firmware is even loaded.

Maybe I have a bad ROM Dump? Or maybe my version of Decrypt9 is bugged somehow?

That is possible. Try redumping with uncart and then extracting the ncchinfo.bin again.
I'll have to do that later, I am currently in school at the moment. When I get home I will grab a fresh version of Decrypt9 and dump it again.

Yep, ur right on that.
Since I actually don't know much about the description process, I couldn't tell.
But the thing is, as Decrypt9 relies also on the system to en/decrypt any bins, is it possible that the description process is blocked up somewhere?

Also, try using the latest release of decrypt9wip, not the regular decrypt9.

It shouldn't be possible since it operates at the arm9 level.

I used Decrypt9WIP, and I might use my 10.7 Nand backup to test that theory even if it's unlikely apparently.

Oh I remember! I didn't update the system till late last night so when I decrypted the ncchinfo.bin it was 10.7
