Hacking So, what do I need to do to play pirated games on Wii U?

Hi Guys!

I got a few questions, that I hope some kind soul could answer for me

So, here is the thing. I have been overseas for long time and just got back to my country of origin last week. So for the past 14-16 month or so my Wii U has been left behind in a box in my garage and I have not touched it yet. But planning to start play with it tomorrow.

But before then, I just want to ask a few things, because I dont want to screw anything up since I plan to get homebrew later and I honestly dont remember much about the Wii U interface or anything so please bare with me. Okay so anyway...

1. I do already have homebrew installed on vWii, can I update the firmware without getting any problems?

2. As I understand from this thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/beginne...me-backups-and-homebrews-on-wiiu-vwii.388448/ there is now several exploits that can be used on several different firmware. Could someone give me a quick update on what kind of exploits these all are? And whom of them are I interested in if I want to play pirated games with as good experience as possible?

3. I have no idea what firmware I have right now, will look tomorrow but I would guess it is a really old one for sure. But what should/can I do?
3A. Should I just block updates and avoid updating at all?
3B. If I update will I then get the latest version automatically can I update one by one, and stay on the firmware I like?
3C. (Back to question 2). What firmware would be best to be at, if I want to use exploits for Wii U homebrew?


I will appriciate any answers, and I know these questions probably been answered over and over again. But since I been gone for so long, all the information on the web about this is just so overwhelming for me right now to understand. Not that easy to understand, one one new thing you read reffers to another new thing you also have not heard about before, that reffers to a exploit you never heard of before and so it goes on.. Believe me not so easy to "get back in the game" and understand everything again right of the bat
