I was playing around with Unity and made a little app, but wasn't sure if it was ok to share or not. Is that considered piracy? Anyone know?

One route you could go,github(ect) the source code with complete instruction and a video/tutorial.
Then, those with the ability could duplicate your work

It couldn't be legal, considering that it's using Proprietary SDK tools that aren't made to be public :(
Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I'll just keep these things to myself, and won't share them here. Things I make without Unity though, I will still continue to share though.

Out of curiosity, what was the app?

github(ect) the source code
Sharing source code developed with any of Nintendo's Wii U dev tools anywhere online other than on the official Wii U developer portal breaks the Non-Disclosure Agreement with Nintendo and is probably grounds for removal. Not illegal per se, but I wouldn't expect it to stay up long.

Not to mention nobody could build it unless all the required software and whatnot leaked. Unity doesn't support Wii U out of the box, it must be added manually. That can only be done through being a developer with Nintendo.
