ROM Hack Changing Pokemon XYORAS language in real time possible?

Are there any cheats for this? I'm not sure if this is would be possible without editing the rom considering the language is loaded at game start.

XYORAS store the selected language in the save. PKHeX can change the language of an extracted save. On the fly might be a bit weird with side effects, but might be possible.

I did look into save editing. On the fly would be nice though. I assume side effects would include some text not switching languages, text disappearing, etc?

Changing it while running the game likely won't have any immediate effect.

Just change the language byte in the save file with a cheat code, save, then soft reset.
