ROM Hack Importing X/Y Overworld & Battle Models into OR/AS

So this is the one thing I'm having problems with, and would do a lot to learn about such process. Has anyone thought about it? I've tried comparing the same models from both games (Nurse Joy for example) in a hex editor, and they're built pretty differently despite looking identical.

I would be grateful to heavens if someone came up with a solution.

Only the five friends in battle models. Don't exactly know about overworld ones.
Oh. I vaguely remember looking through the romfs in ohana3d and seeing a ton of sprites that I didn't recognize as being from oras

Sprites? Might be some leftovers from X/Y when it comes to battle-intro, but I'm not sure.
There are a lot of dummy slots for overworld models, so you might have seen something there.

Like I said I vaguely remember this b/c I was searching through the files to see where oras overworld player models were stored and I saw all of the friends and a bunch of other npcs not in oras. They seemed to be full models as the had textures with them. I didnt try to mess with any battle intros, just overworld sprites.

Anyway yes, there's likely leftovers from X/Y because of a lot of other reused assets.
I don't know if these made a "BCH v2" conversion or not, though. I mean the fact that X/Y models can't be read properly makes me believe that they did undergo some other compiling.
