I'm used to launching Decrypt9 and apps like that from the homebrew launcher, kind of like a hub for homebrew. So I was wondering if it exists/is possible? Thanks :D

You could use ctrbootmanager9 to boot A9LH payloads with a GUI, but if you mean instead, "Can I run the actual Homebrew Launcher from A9LH?" the answer is no, because the 3DS OS isn't running while A9LH is (and the HBL needs said OS to work).

On the other hand, if someone launched NATIVE_FIRM (i.e. the 3DS OS) and figured out how to launch the HBL instead of the Home Menu, then sure. But either way, you'd need FIRM to be running.

Small rumor has it some well known dev is working on it. And before anyone asks me who it is tough shit I won't say, you just have to wait like good boys and girls. :D

Edit: if you know what thread to look for on gbatemp you will find the dev's name being mentioned in a topic between me and some one else.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. Do you know if this is grid launcher supported?

If you find the dev than you can ask him or her.

BTW I don't see why anyone would need a HBL anymore. Just install it as a CIA, problem solved.

Mostly for non-cfw users or those who are getting close to the 300 icon limit on the home menu, I suppose. Or for the few apps that can't really operate as CIA (SVDT (just use JK or SDF), and HANS, but you can use NTR, I guess).

Chances are the dev is trying to figure out how to load and boot .bin home brew directly from the hb launcher.

The person who is the most versed in creating homebrew for the 3ds is about to go work for the big M.

So true, unfortunately a lot of homebrews aren't possible or simply don't exist as cia!
I'm 100% sure any and all homebrew work from the Homebrew Launcher cia.

Why would anyone want having 300 apps installed at once?
This is literally the same as asking why collectors collect.
Plus, who wants to go to that ISO site each time you want something rather than just have it on your menu, ready for you? You'd might as well use carts if you have like four games on your menu.
