Hello. I am trying to get sysUpdater working tempoarily so I can downgrade to 9.2 to use Gateway Mode, until they release arm9loaderhax support. Whenever I boot up sysUpdater, whether in cia or 3dsx format, I always get a black screen and I am forced to hard reboot my system. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

If anyone has any fixes, or suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks! :)

And how exactly have you installed sysupdater in cia above 9.2 again?

Okay. I'll try that. thanks. :)
Please try this build first (attached to post). I'll even post a video of the downgrading process after I update to 10.7. Just please don't use PlaiSysUpdater! It's new, and it's buggy.

EDIT: And I was going to say that sysUpdater (standard one) is old, but thoroughly tested and proven to work. I also think you're using the wrong build because svchax usually takes one, maybe two tries to boot.

Actually had to use sysUpdater to downgrade my O3DS. PlaiSysUpdater was not working after about 30 reboots/relaunches.

Ok lol. as long as he has a ctrnand/nand backup then, he will be fine if something goes wrong.

(firm update protection works for sysupdater downgrades, does it not? haven't tested this)

Also, (can't believe I just thought of this) I know you were using the wrong build, because no build that assumes you're on 10.7 will come with a CIA file, because when you're on 10.7 as per usual, you can't even install legitimate CIAs, much less illegitimate ones.
