Well, it seems that if you input a decrypted title key, it will download and build a CIA without error; but when you are almost finished installing the CIA, you will get a "Cert signature or hash check failed" error.

yeah you provide the key which will be bundled with the cia for the 3DS to use, the only downfall of FunKeyCIA is that it cant verify the key before building the CIA, so just double check your key before making the cia or it will fail upon installing

Does FunkeyCIA have an option built it to verify the key being entered is valid before attempting to download/build a CIA?

its not really possible.....unless you provided the decrypted key + encrypted key, one to verify and one to actually use (but even in that case someone could put the real decrypted key bundled with a crap encrypted key if they were jerks) basically as long as you trust your sources you will be fine, the ability to verify the key was nice, but as long as you just copy/paste your key and double check before hitting enter you will be fine

Fun fact: open it with Notepad++

It shows spaces then. I can only assume it has done it this way ok purpose.

if you had already installed a bad version you may already have a bad ticket installed, I read FBI allows the removal of bad tickets so try removing the old ticket if this is the issue and then re-installing the new cia
