If you only want to play DS games, no need to get the plus.Don't worry I own a few lol I just want a convenient way of loading DS games without carrying every game with me.
I guess now the question is the Supercard DSTwo or Supercard DSTwo Plus
get whatever you want. DO NOT USE THE GATEWAY EMULATOR ON YOUR 3DS AS IT WILL BRICK YOUR 3DS!Don't worry I own a few lol I just want a convenient way of loading DS games without carrying every game with me.

Then again, you can get pretty much all the emulators on 3DS with a CFW. And they will show with native resolution instead of DS resolution.I know but the emulation on the plus is better then the normal DSTwo

Not currently. They claim that the DSTWO+'s processor is faster and it has more RAM, but currently you are limited to the same clock speed in emulators as they only let you select 390 something mhz as the maximum, regardless of which cart you have.I know but the emulation on the plus is better then the normal DSTwo
You've never had to patch your NAND to play with flashcarts. Why not both?
Run AuReiNAND so you don't have to have to patch your NAND for the flashcart to work. And get a Flashcart for your DS games.
Plus CFW's can't actually install DS games, you need a DS-Mode Flashcart for that.
Actually, ds_whitelist.cia was a package a user could install to your NAND to whitelist some flashcarts that Nintendo blocked around the 4.x updates or so.You've never had to patch your NAND to play with flashcarts.
For older flashcarts, you need to downgrade your whitelist (either using flashcarttimewarp, bluecardfix, or some other form of patching.) Any cards made after Nintendo stopped patching for them, like recent versions of R4i Gold or Supercard DSTwo, are fine. You've never had to patch your NAND to play with flashcarts.
