Hacking How would i unbrick a n3ds using A9HL? (Safety & Prevention)

Now i havent bricked my N3ds, but i just would like to know and be ready for anything nintendo or... Gateway Throws at me. so how do we unbrick uning A9HL? or is it not even ready yet?

As long as you have a working sysnand.bin, you can launch Decrypt9 by holding Start on boot and restore it from there

also holding start on boot does not open decrypt9wip
If you follow plailect's guide, it does.

What if someone did have A9HL, but didn't have a nand back up, are they fucked then if they brick?

Yes, I do have a nand back up, I'm just curious.

I guess they'd be fucked, unless it were possible to use another device's nand backup(which I'm pretty sure isn't)

For example if i have a bricked 3ds with aureinand so it boot arm9loaderhax.bin
can i change the bin file to ctrbootmanager9 and boot d9 from the bricked console?

Are you sure? AFAIK NAND.bin is a 1:1 copy of the NAND chip's content.

I think it doesn't, at least I know that Emunand9 won't let you restore a Gateway NAND backup. It adds some extra bytes to the read or something like that.
