I use the latest version of MenuHax and CtrBootLoader, and on both of my O3DS and N3DS, the boot rate is nearly 100%.

If you don't want to go a9lh route, then try this guide
https://gbatemp.net/threads/guide-how-to-improve-menuhax-boot-rate-to-nearly-100.410764/

And make sure you formatted your SD card to fat 32, 64k cluster size using the Gui format tool from this guide
https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutoria...luding-emunand-coldboot-cia-installer.405589/

Hope that helps.

I did this with an O3DS with ReiNAND and a N3DS with Cakes, and in both cases got excellent results -- basically 99% boot rate for Menuhax.

Of course this does nothing for the boot manager boot rate. But overall much better, since this eliminates problems in one of the two places it can freeze.

If you mean the time it takes to load then yeah, it takes approximately 45-50 seconds to boot and that's if it does actually boot. If you use AL9H then the boot time is cut down to 16 seconds and it will boot every time.

I know these things because I have a 128GB SD card.

16 seconds with A9LH? damn, it took me less with menuhax

Get AL9H.
+1
Join the A9LH Master Race, and no longer will you need to put up with freezes or long boot times.
This. n3ds as a whole has a lot of bootrate issues with menuhax. A9lh will fix this entirely, although it admittedly is a bit of work to set up.
It's worth it, though. :)

lol
If you don't want to go a9lh route, then stop being paranoid. https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki
Hope that helps.

i love how with menuhax you do everything you can to get it to boot, but with a9lh you do everything you can to get it to boot faster lol
