I know you can change the screen flicker within the Config but that has not been a solution to my problem of how on my N3DSXL the top and bottom screens seem to be set at different color configurations, the top more blueish and the bottom more reddish.
I know that you inherently view the two screens at slightly different angles but that doesn't seem to be the cause of this rather annoying difference in color hues.

Nintendo never added any color calibration as they simply do not care. various color temp and color reproduction issues have plagued the 3DS since launch and nothing has been done about it.

You'd think they would, what with the fact they have wonderful graphical artists...

you would think they would have also went with a higher screen resolution also to show off the wonderful graphics their games have.
Instead, I get to admire all the Jagged lines from using low resolutions to render 3D models and not running any decent AA on them instead.

I have wondered if it's (theoretically) possible for a homebrew program to mess with screen calibration / colour temp values - if only for the duration of that particular session.

I'd imagine that newer 3DS units using a seemingly random mixture of IPS and TFT screens might possibly complicate the process / results further, maybe.
