Hacking More GW save issues?

I have been having issues with my GW saving when closing software. It has now twice gotten stuck saving for Senran Kagura Deep Crimson. Is there any way to troubleshoot why this is happening? It happens on and off for all my games too. The GW it self checks out fine.

This happened to me and I made a thread a long time ago around when it first released in America.
I don't know what causes this to happen, but if you try closing out the game, the whole 3DS will freeze and you have to turn it off and lose the progress you made. It seems that it happens only at certain parts of the game. It's definitely something to do with the game and not Gateway, because it ALSO happens on the cia version!! But at least with the cia version, the game saves when you choose save so there's never any risk of losing your progress if a freeze would occur. I'm surprised this isn't a known issue, and I wonder if it happens on the cart version of the game (I'm sure it does).

You can either convert the game to card2 (So that it saves right away, and inside of the rom), or get the cia version of the game. It's always possible to transfer your save to the cia version or card2 version.

Thanks for sharing. It keeps happening in Senran Kagura specifically before the boss fight with the two ball things. In the JPN version of Project Mirai DX it happens a lot if I don't exit to the main menu first. It happened once in MH4U when I didn't let my character finish standing up first.

So yea, I don't know why but it's upsetting. Most of the time the save fully corrupts but for Senran Kagura it just rolls back and doesn't write the save at all.

The game just will not save past this one fight. It froze yet again. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

After trying countless things, nothing fixes this issue. XSeed does not acknowledged the issue either. This kind of sucks.
