that means redownload the game...
Yes, but for most of the People the result would be the same, He would have a cia of his bought game. I think it would be much harder to create a cia from the files on the sd, then simply redownloading it on the PC.
And from what I read, his goal is only to get a cia from a bought game.

That doesn't work for everything. I tried doing it for The Binding Of Isaac Rebirth and it wouldn't show up anywhere
Thats why i recommend groovycia. Works for alot of things. Plus it usually doesnt end up working bc its not edited for something like say gateway. (just an example)

FunkyCIA works for everything. GroovyCIA's cias will be exactly the same as FunkyCIA.
i'm not sure what you mean about edited for gw... the cias produced are not touched at all really, they are as pure and clean as we can have them.
if a game needs keys from the seed.db, that's a different problem :)
but the cia itself is fine...

if you are noobs like it seems you guys might be since you don't understand a lot of the stuff (no offense) - i recommend GroovyCIA, because my FunkyCIA (the original tool) is command line and needs python.

Lol, promoting your project i see? :P
I'll give it a try tomorrow, i have a TON of work i need to catch up on tonight.
not really promoting, i don't really care if you use it or not, i don't benefit :D
but if you said you had trouble with GroovyCIA, what can i do?
as long as you are comfortable with command line stuff it's really easy :)

GroovyCIA is REALLY buggy..
Should i try FunkyCIA or what?
It would be nice if you post the bugs in the GroovyCIA Thread, so I can fix them, instead saying it is buggy. I have alot of testers who are trying to find bugs, but we can't find every bug.

EDIT: Idk which version you are using (pre-0.9 or final), so If you are on the pre-release, I would recommend to update

Doesn't it also require Linux unless you use the modded version someone posted?
