Hardware Comparing CFWs...trying to find the one most suited to my needs...

Looking for an easy to use, foolproof version of CFW on the 3DS. I know there's Cakes, rxTools and a couple of others out there.

What I"m asking is - is there a CFW for me?

I'm running a newly downgraded 9.2 O3DS. I have access to OoT3Hax, and Powersaves to change the OoT save file. I also have menuhax running on it, so I don't have to fiddle with browserhax. I know about the difference between a sysnand and a Emunand....

What I'm Looking for in a CFW:
- stable/90% boot start up rate
- easy to use (I know about injecting cias as games, but would love a simpler method of getting games onto there)
- easy to deal with Emunand...

I guess try Aureinand. The boot rate is something that can't really be influenced so you may or may not get lucky with it. You aren't gonna get anything simpler than installing FBI and installing some cias. Get a Gateway (totally not recommended at this point) if you want even more simple. Aureinand has nice patches, so I guess it's easy to deal with. All cfws load the same emuNAND though all that differ are patches and features.

With menuhax + lesshax/ctrboot, you have ReiNand, AuReiNand and CakesFW with 90% or higher boot rate, for 100% boot rate, get the Arm9LoaderHax
There is no way to do a easier way do injecting games
I dunno what you mean to "easy to deal with emunand", but all the 3 CFWs above is easy to deal with emuNAND

ReiNand have focus on emuNAND, AuReiNand focus on both emuNAND and sysNAND, have AGB_FIRM and TWL_FIRM patches to play GBA and DSiWare custom games and old flashcards, a reboot patch for GBA saves

Both CFWs have region-free (for cias only), but only AuReiNand have the ability to access the eshop if your 3DS is region changed

I dunno if only AuReiNand have the update blocker or if ReiNand has it too

If I'm right, @Aurora Wright implemented all the 3ds_injector code, that includes the update block (unless she removed it)

It Doesnt block updates but it Blocks a part of the system where a9hl is to prevent it from being deleted or overwritten...so making it unpatchable...still pretty cool

It Doesnt block updates but it Blocks a part of the system from being updated where a9hl is to prevent it from being deleted or overwritten...so making it unpatchable...still pretty cool

No I know that for a9lh it blocks FIRM 0/1 from being patched, but the op has 9.2 w/o a9lh.

I think he means FIRM protection.

Wow really? But doesnt it just block firm from being updated? I dont see how it messes with the eshop downloads...

That's block protection...
The 3ds_injector have the feature to block the automatic updates when in sleep mode or when entering the eshop, if I'm remembering well
