Hacking Keep getting softbrick after downgrade on n3ds 10.7 to 9.2

Ive been following Plailect tutorial to downgrade my n3ds.

I already have a 2ds with a9lh so I think theres no mistake on my side. Ive been reading that this happens often with the n3ds and that the only reasonable option is to format my n3ds.

How do I format? And also, is there any way to keep my saves? I supposed that all my games will be lost even if I backup my sd (most of my games are digital), but do I also lose my saves?

Maybe I should just stop trying to downgrade but I really wanted to have my n3ds with a9hl.

Use a homebrew save manager and backup your saves (at least what you can), then format through System Settings and format your SD on your PC.

Thanks! If I ever make it to "updated sysnand" a9lh will those saved work with my games again?
Do you guys know what save manager is the best for me?

Most save managers require CFW, so you won't be able to backup what's not supported by the 3dsx ones. IIRC, it's either savedatafiler or svdt that works from the HBL.

If you downgrade and get a black screen on reboot. Remove the sd card and then reboot the sd card. It should works.
It is a comman problem with the n3ds.

Also i had to use safesysupdate.
The normal one wouldnt work for me. But after a few trys the safe one work

lm getting the an error has ocurred screen. Tried removing the sd, no dice.
Ill give a try with safesys updater . Dont want to format my 3ds

Are you getting an error on boot? Where does it error you out?

Yeah, the an error has ocurred screen appears on boot after succesful downgrade.

Not sure than, but you won't be able to do anything in that state unless you want to use recovery mode.

That sucks, but it's either a soft brick forever or a functional 3ds with no saves left.

Have you tried the modified sysupdater from plailect? It's supposed to be more stable. Also does an error occur during the downgrade it's self?

I used that one first but with the same results, and no, the error appears after downgrade is complete and rebooting into 9.2

Yes, Ive checked many times. Dont know what else to do.

You can only format man. Not even a hard mod can save you here without a proper backup.

Hmmm where did you download the downgrade pack? The link in the guide? If so try finding the link on the post on that ISO site. That's the pack that worked for me.

it will do no good, the iso site is down right now, this is what loads

try a different or smaller microsd card. I use a 4gb when i downloaded my n3ds
