got my wallet stolen once at school
a friend found it in the bathroom and gave me back, and now that i think about it, probably the friend who found the wallet was the one that stole it in the first place..
it had like 3 euros on it, come back with just 1 or 2 cents.. but i got my bus pass and ID back.. which was great..
i also lost a ps2 memory card, which cost 50 euros at that time, i am pretty sure it was stolen by a girl that pretended to be nice..
i did steal 2 things when i was a kid...
one, it was a pack of gum on a shopping, it had cameras, the security dude called my mom at checkout, i never forget the shame i had..
i also stole a toy from my neighbor, years later they found out in my house, i also regret it... specially because after steal it, with the guilt i hided it in a room and never used, afraid of parents ask where i did get it, and i don't know why i actually took it...
i tried to steal 2 game boy games...
a friend of a relative was in my house having vacation.. the person had a gameboy with a very cool game i was enjoying, when i realized that person would go back to his\her country, i hided the cartridge in a medicine box, some days later this person had an injury, did go to medicine box and found the game, she\he get surprised to find the game in there, that person didn't speak my language so i don't know if it did get angry or knew i was trying to "make her\him forget the game in my house"
the second game boy game, it was when i was at the hospital, i stole the cartridge, and somedays later i had guilt and knew i was doing something wrong.. so i come up with the idea of put the game on a toy box and pretended to found it there, i gave the game back this way..
this events happened when i was very little (the first gbc game, the gum thing and the toy happened when i was about 6 years old, the second game boy game was when i was about 9 years old..
ho, now that i remember, when i was about 13, i stole some money from my grandma, but later i put the money back..
the reasons i stole the stuff was because when i asked my parents something they gave me the "when i was your age i didn't need any game boys or toys" speech. they never understood that a kid needs toys, or games or that we didn't lived in a rock age anymore..
my mom never ever bought me a toy... my dad only gave me something in Christmas.. so i was a frustrated kid that had to rely on relatives or others to get toys..
they never purchased candy, or toys..
and i was a pretty selfish kid..
