On the thread about the retroch it mentions gba and a ps1 emulator but not ds emulators. Why the hell are you going to allow ps1 emulation but not allow ds emulation???

Why would they port a DS emu? The 3DS can play DS games natively. It would be a waste of time to create and debug a DS emulator. Not to mention, at least the o3DS is way too weak to emulate DS.

Putting ds games on a flash cart is not the same as playing games natively. In other words playing ds games on a microsd card is better because you don't always remove the games.

How is that not natively? Despite it not being the original copy of a game, you are still running the games on real hardware without emulation using a flashcart. You are still putting the games on a microsd card reguardless if it's inside the system or using a flashcart.

Let me post a relevant quote from my good friend @Margen67
1. buy a flashcart for 10$
2. buy a flashcart for 10$
3. buy a flashcart for 10$
4. buy a flashcart for 10$
5. buy a flashcart for 10$
6. buy a flashcart for 10$
7. buy a flashcart for 10$
8. buy a flashcart for 10$
9. buy a flashcart for 10$
make sure you post this fun fact too
that way people can find a way of running ds games
without without a flashcart

i know you want to run ds games without a flash cart but you should buy a flash cart to do so.

PSA: you can only run DS games with a flashcart

PS...

you can't run ds games without a flashcart

thanks guys for letting me "help" you :)

edit: This has been officially named "flashcarthax"

I say this in every thread, but why would devs release code they slaved over for months on end that can already be achieved with a 5 dollar flashcard and a couple of days postage?

If you buy one right this very minute, it'll be in your letter-box in a couple of days time.

If you don't have $5 right now, I'm sure you can save up your pocket money from mummy and daddy for 2 weeks, then get one.

Last time I ordered a flashcard it cost 25$, took over a month, and of the two I ordered only one worked. No refunds. So if you can point me to this 5$ card with warpspeed shipping that'd be great.
