Hacking OOThax, Ver. 10.7.0-32U downgrade and homebrew

Good day all. I recently bought a nintendo 3ds on the version stated in the title. I want to play roms on my 3DS. I have done some research and seen that it is possible however you need several requirements before being able to do so. There are countless guides out there and all of them are EXTREMELY confusing.

I have been seeing people saying that you can hack the 3DS using only a physical copy of OOT3DS and not a digital, and on the other hand I see posts saying both can be used. I recently bought digital copy of the game off of Amazon, and I wanted to try it.

The next thing is I do not own a powersave device. Is it possible to get the backup file somewhere online and use it without needing the powersave device?

If there is a literal complete guide on how to hack the 3DS on FW 10.7.0-32U from start to finish using OOTHax, OOT3DS Digital copy and no powersave device needed that will allow me to say download pokemon omega ruby and play, can you please point me to it or if anyone is kind enough to help this nub out with what I need, I'd be very appreciative.

NO, you're an idiot. You should have posted something first before you ASSUME this may work. The digital copy will not work because there's no way for you to inject the exploitable save file. You should've just buy powersave + OOT retail hard copy. Or better yet, get a sky3ds and load the cubic ninja rom. Also, if you have the hard copy of OOT, find someone with a hack 3ds who has homebrew channel running.

I can't go 10 minutes without tripping over a guide to set up emunand, if you look into these things before posting it would be very clear. You shouldn't come and just ask 'how do I get free games' without doing any research first.

Okay, well let me explain it so it makes more sense, then. You have to have a physical copy of Ocarina of Time 3D in order to use the save. OOT3D and cubic ninja are the only ways to downgrade from 10.7 at this time. You have to have a physical cartridge to use the powersaves method, or have your 3ds already set up for homebrew. If you don't have a 3ds readily available to inject the save into the physical copy, you can't do it. You bought the digital copy, you can't do it. Sorry.

For reference, though, talking about piracy in general around here is frowned upon.

No you can't. To make use of the digital copy you need a method to run a cfw beforehand. So a digital copy won't help you to install a cfw. Buy either a sky3ds and use it with Cubic Ninja or buy OOT physical + Powersaves.

The guys above are right. The guides seem to be confusing first but after reading they become clear. You just didn't read them properly.

I am a bit disappointed to see some of the unnecessary comments in this thread.

However, note that you cannot continue on your 10.7 3DS without some way of flashing a hacked save file onto your OoT3D game cart, which requires either a Powersaves or an already-hacked 3DS. Otherwise, consider investing in a copy of Cubic Ninja, which can get you hacked using a QR code instead. (Unless you're lucky finding a cheap copy of CN, Powersaves might be your cheapest option)

You can use it, but before you can use it, you need to inject the modified save.
To do that, you need access to homebrew... and you get homebrew using that same game or cubic ninja...

So you can, but at the same time you cannot.

On 10.5 or less firmware version, you could use a free way to run homebrew (browserhax), hence, inject the needed save into your ocarina of time.

But you cannot use browserhax since 10.6

Yeah, if you're on 9.x you can use the browser exploit, but for 10.6 on you can only use OOTHax or CN.
