Gaming My Pokémon Bank is in Japanese now?

Well put simply I'm on an American O3DS XL with an American Pokémon X cartridge on an American emuNAND 10.7

I opened up Pokémon Bank just now and the entire thing is in Japanese, I can't read. What the hell

The only possible link I can come up with is that I sometimes play my (American!) Alpha Sapphire cart on a Japanese 3DS but I don't see how that would force the app to change language especially since it hasn't changed back

I wanna delete and redownload it from the eShop but I won't lose my Pokémon this way right? I know the idea is that the Pokémon are stored on a cloud or whatever but I always have very little trust in how Nintendo operates this stuff

but I play the game in English and everything, this makes no sense... anyway the last bunch of times I played it was on the American 3DS

For some reason your emunand is wrong region.

What CFW are you on?

Do you reckon that's the problem? I only doubt it because everything else on the 3DS is in English it's just Pokémon Bank

Anyway I'm on a Gateway EmuNAND, 10.7 I just updated from 10.1, sysnand 9.2, unlinked

Make sure you're on the latest gateway version.

That happens when the gateway version doesn't fully support the latest emunand fw

(Happened to me on previous iterations)

Perhaps an alternative, is set the red cart language/region to English/US, before using Pokemon bank.

(It's the press select, then toggle options thing)

Updating the gateway launcher did the trick, holy hell thanks so much I was so worried

That's a really weird thing to happen, technically speaking, I can't even begin to understand how that happens

Well sometimes the updates partially break emunand due to whatever changes, and this is a partially broken system.

Not bad enough to break the emunand usage, but only the region option.

I observed this before they even released the language changing option,
Cause my Pokemon oddly was receiving Japanese event (us devise connecting to jp server)
