My Zelda old3DS, because it's the easiest to develop homebrew for while enjoying some old DS/GBA and emulated (S)NES/GB(C) games :D

Also, it looks cool :P

Mine would be the Nintendo DS. Mostly because it made my typical childhood. I remember play really awesome games, really ugly ones, really retarded ones, etc.
I had a R4 for DS so yeah.

GBA of course! I had the best memories with that system. My favorite games were WarioWare (Inc. and Twisted), Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, Minish Cap, and the Gameboy to GameCube connectivity was always a blast in Wind Waker. :)

The 3DS can play DS. GBA, and GBC. What's better, a system with one system's worth of games, or a system with tons of games?

If we're going to count a system as is, it's going to be the NDS. A revolutionary handheld that survived all the way up to Mt. Everest.

If we're going to count a system's homebrew capabilities, the 3DS. Simple, isn't it?

I would say the 3ds, it has gotten such a big part of my life that it's hard to go back and play on a ds/lite or gba

I think either nds, or gba are the 2 best handhelds of all time, and they rank up there w/ the best overall systems of all time, so many badass games

The DS.
I got a DSi in 2009, along with a copy of Pokemon Platinum. I played that game for weeks, and then found an open WiFi signal not far from my house; that was my first taste of Nintendo WFC, and I used the GTS and WiFi Plaza. I even did such in 2011 on my 3DS, and my original 3DS NAND dump actually has a PID from Nintendo WFC, and I still use the GTS via Wiimmfi.

The DS, what a great and diverse library of games.
Somehow I'm still strangly impressed by Kirby: Power Paintbrush. It was to short, to easy and not as much fun as I thought seeing it first time, but somehow very memorable.
Oh, and Another Code the DS closing! So many great ideas. And Trauma Center, really a lot of unique games.
Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Brain Age (calculation was never fun before or after that ;))
Oh, right and I never understood why everyone seemed to like Big Bang Mini or The World Ends With You...
And that great Final Fantasy 3 remake.
And with Anno 1701 a real Anno on the go.
Not to forget Scribblenauts (the database was good, but not complete enough at all).

I was a bit disappointedby Sid Meiers Civilization Revolution...

Well, Nintendo is definitely known for making sturdy devices. My GBA SP survived a lot of drops from the stairs.
You droped your GBA SP regularly from stairs? (Closed I guess?)

i LOOOOOOOVVVVEEDD the gameboy, but even at the time I knew it was a technically inferior device. i have tons of great summer memories playing gameboy.

DS got my vote though. it was truly a revolution in handhelds for its time and the games i played on it, i truly enjoyed playing more than any gameboy titles i am hold in my heart (kirbys dreamland, i'm looking at you ;) )

Mario Kart DS, Mario and Luigi partners in time, ultimate mortal kombat, touchmaster, new super mario bros, super mario 64 ds and tony hawks proving ground (last good tony hawk title produced, only the ds version not the console versions) are just a few i can think of right now that i poured countless hours into.

DS wins handhelds forever. or maybe until the NX is revealed at least :) who knows.

The 3DS, why? Because I can play not only all the latest 3DS games, but I can still play my DS/GBA,GBC, and GB games.
Sure the the GBA/GBC/GB are all VC, but you know why that's great? No fucking batteries! Saves? Safe! RTC? Safe! Other features? Going to be working for as long as I can keep using the system!
Seriously, you just can't go wrong with the 3DS.

Tbh, I love my n3DS, only because it has A9LH because I can play some of the gems of the SNES, and GBA era.
It also has the ability of backward compatibility with DS too, so yeah. I love my n3DS.

DSlite. GBA games (pokemon and every other GBA game I love) and some of the best newer games I've played (sinnoh is beautiful).

Homebrews on the DS are awesome as well, plus devkitpro makes making new ones easier.

The GBA SP AGS-101 is Nintendos best handheld. It is compatible with all gameboy games and has a screen that still looks awesome today. All it's missing is the headphone jack.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.
