Hacking Yifanlu releases 3ds cfw Cosmo3DS

New release. Rebased project with AuReiNand (because of the better dynamic patch finding support). Added loading of FIRM from emuNAND (no more need for firmware.bin) and removed need to have to pad 3ds_injector (CFW will move stuff around to make room for modified loader, regardless of size). These features are also submitted to AuroraWright for those who do not wish to use Cosmo3DS

The goal of this CFW is "install once and never touch again". So I've removed configuration options, splash screens, etc. With emuNAND FIRM loading and dynamic FIRM patching, that means when you update emunand via system settings, you can run the latest FIRM with both loader patches and FIRM patches without needing to update firmware.bin or the CFW.

Just using the CFW does NOT enable eShop for region changed consoles. It is the last step in a very complicated process detailed here:

This is great. once this is implemented into AL9H compatible CFWs, people will be able to buy Japanese, European, and North American 3DS's and use them in any region they feel like on SysNAND just like it were an actual console of the region.

If your CFW uses an unencrypted firmware.bin (reinand before the current version I believe does this), just replace the loader CXI directly. If your CFW uses an encrypted firmware.bin, add code to inject the loader CXI.

Like I said above, you can always just use it with ReiNAND or any other CFW. Same steps.

i noticed something on yifanlu's github a few days ago, but sure i guess it wasn't finished then or something, very cool! thank you for trying to make things more simple and standardized, it's annoying when people don't work together from the beginning

Lol yeah. I tried adding the female symbol (♀) to my by-line but it hasn't stopped people calling me "dude". I think it'd be a lot better if males didn't use female avatars. For example I always think of Rinne as a female (female avatar, gender neutral name)
