This is what I did to get my a9lh to run on my N3DS.

Edit: before you read further I want you to know I already have Aureinand 3.14 installed on the sd card

1. I put the minipasta.3dsx in the 3ds folder on my microsd root

2. I used menuhax to boot the homebrew loader, than I booted minipasta.

3. After booting into minipasta I went back to the homebrew loader and I booted my a9lh, after a9lh was done installing and my 3ds shuts down (that's normal).

4. After all that I downloaded the arm9loaderhax.bin, I went ahead and put it on the root of my sd card.

5. Then I went and turn on my n3ds (with the arm9loaderhax.bin still on the root of my sd card), then I decided to let the 3ds run for a good 20 seconds and I pushed the A button. After pushing the A button the n3ds turned off (which means a9lh is installed properly)

6. After that I removed the arm9loaderhax.bin and decided to see if Aureinand would boot, but to my surprise it did not boot. Instead what happened was my n3ds turned on with the blue power light for one second and then it turned back off (this happens every time I press the power button). I did not change the name of the arm9loaderhax.3dsx, the name is still the same, and I did not change its location.

Edit: I followed this guide from mrmario2011 on youtube

Do I need to reinstall Aureinand? Or is something else wrong?

Out of curiosity, can you download ReiNand from the github? (Add /releases to the end of the URL to see the compiled versions)

Copy the contents of the latest reinand_n3ds.zip and extract it to your sd root. See if that boots up.

If you removed arm9loaderhax.bin,it's normal

Obviously AuReiNAND would not boot without arm9loaderhax.bin, since that's the file that contains the CFW. arm9loaderhax isn't capable of booting without an arm9loaderhax.bin on the SD. Maybe this will be improved in the future so that it performs a standard firmlaunch (booting into sysNAND) if no arm9loaderhax.bin is found.
You need the arm9loaderhax.bin from AuReiNAND, as well as the aurei folder with firmware.bin, and optionally firmware90.bin in it.

It's possible that the guide you used had you install an old a9lh version that doesn't contain screen init, therefore AuReiNAND will not work since it accesses the screen. You should only use the "official" guide by Plailect. It's updated frequently so it has more up to date information.

A9LH.3dsx patched your sysnand to look for the file "arm9loaderhax.bin" on your sd root the moment you turn on your console. That file can be anything, ranging from a boot file for a custom firmware like aureinand to a small test file that powers off the system at the push of a button.

Make sure that the arm9loaderhax.bin you are using came from aureinand.7z's A9LH folder.

I'm confused

Lmfao the problem was I thought it was taking to long to load aureinand, I just need to have damn some patience.

Edit: It booted aureinand after all, thanks anyway. :yay3ds:
