Hi guys,

I'm going to buy a new 3DS XL, I was intentioned to install A9LH on it.

I have both Red and Blue Gateway Cards (currently using the red one on my o3ds), what should I do with them?
Should I sell them with my o3ds or should I use with A9LH? If I should use them, how can I do it?

Thank you for your time. :)

Probably yes, a sticky FAQ thread to avoid this kind of topic can be very useful for the forum.

Guys like me who spent almost 80$ for these two cards are a bit scared to sell them without a good reason :S .

Sorry for reposting guys, I think this thread now can be closed. :)

I have sysnand 9.2 and emu 10.7, and launch gw through the sysnand using a gateway cia launcher
Um.. how does it work exactly? Is it easier than Menuhax, and, where can I find that launcher, is it on that ISO site? Thanks for replying in advance! :D

I would keep them(I still have mine), while there are more and more features coming to the free CFWs, gateway is a importend part of the 3DSs cfw history, and they are adding more features to their cfw from time to time(like the cheat support, including a easy way to find cheats). While there is no direct launcher for arm9loader hax, there could be one in the future, like their gw.3ds to start it with menuhax.

It is on gbatemp somewhere, google gateway cia launcher and it should come up. Just place the files on your sd card, and install the cia, and it will launch gw emu

Okay, found it, so, what does it exactly do? Does it launch the Gateway automatically? And, if so, is it faster than homemenuhax?

You can also launch it with menuhax still, but i got rid of menuhax when i installed a9lh. I just installed homebrew launcher and gateway cia launcher onto sysnand

Just ordered a Black New 3DS XL (hope his firmware is not too high...) for 130 € . :yaynds:
I bought my N3DS from Amazon and it shipped brand new with 9.9, so hopefully it goes well for you too! :)
Even then, it's particularly likely you'll get an exploitable version since 10.7 can easily be downgraded to 9.2 in order to perform emuNAND or A9LH sysNAND (use svchax/memchunkhax2.1), and there's no word on a new version just yet as of typing this.
