Friend:
- Instert Zelda OoT in 3DS
- Boot into homebrew launcher
- Start OoT sploitinstaller
- Change 3DS system to your system O3DS
- Change Firmware to your Firmware 10.6.0-31U
- Let it do it's thing
You:
- Goto
http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ and download starter.zip
- Unzip to the root of your SD
- Goto
https://github.com/d0k3/Decrypt9WIP/releases and download Decrypt9
- Unzip the files to the root of your SD and the Decrypt9WIP folder nto the \3ds folder
- Goto
https://github.com/profi200/sysUpdater/releases/ and download sysupdater
- Unzip it to the root of your SD

** Go into \3ds folder and create a folder \3ds\SafeSysUpdater\ and put the SafeSysUpdater.3dsx in there
- Get the 9.2.0.20U cia update files
for your system (O3DS)(search that one site)
- unzip all cia files in a folder called updates (or was it update)
- Insert Zelda OoT into your 3Ds
- Power up and start OoT
- Choose the first save slot with all the hearts
- Once the game is started, move and press A, Game will freeze and start exploit
- Now you should boot into Hombrew Launcher
- Start sysupdater
- Press Y to downgrade
** If using SafeSysUpdater it's the same, only it will perform a check if all cia files are good before giving you the option to downgrade
- Don't leave your system and check that everything is green after the cia files that passes your screen
- system will rebooot after downgrade
- Cross your fingers
- Once downgrade is successfull

- Instert Zelda OoT in 3DS
- Boot into homebrew launcher
- Start OoT spoilinstaller
- Change 3DS system to your system O3DS
- Change Firmware to your Firmware 9.2.0-20U
(It should all be good if you do it on your own system, no need to change anything, but check to be sure)
- Let it do it's thing
You:
- Insert Zelda OoT into your 3Ds
- Power up and start OoT
- Choose the first save slot with all the hearts
- Once the game is started, move and press A, Game will freeze and start exploit
- Now you should boot into Hombrew Launcher
- Install MenuHax 2.2
- Setup MenuHax like you want (Autoboot into Hombrew Launcher or whatever (Hold L to boot into Sysnand), Autoboot into sysnand (Hold L to boot into HBL) or choose whatever key you like
- In Hombrew Launcher start Decrypt9WIP and make a sysnand backup (Very important!, don't skip this!)
- Start Homebrewing
or setup emunand (that's another guide, search GBATemp)
- Once MenuHax is setup, you can give the Zelda OoT cart back to your friend, no need for it anymore if you stay with this setup (not OTP)
