Hi,

I have a N3DS XL with a lot of legit content. Games from eShop + Ambassador Gifts.
I would like to know how I can save all this data (games and saves) before I download and apply a CFW on it.
The goal is to be able to reinject this on my 3DS in case anything happens (don't want CFW anymore for example)

Thank you :)

OK Thanks. I thought some Data/content/save could be only stored in the N3DS.
If everything is only on the SD that's great. :)

What cfw are you going to install? Were you going all the way to a9lh or just going to use menuhax?

If you go all the way and use the OTP guide to install a9lh in the end you will still have all your content from before restored on your cfw patched sysnand.

I don't know yet. But I was going to install Reinand or RXTools.
A9lh is scaring me :D

Hi,
I did install Reinand, put back my Nintendo 3DS folders but nothing appears on the Home menu.
Do I need to do anything in particular to have all my games and saves back?

Check inside the Nintendo folder, you properly now have two sets of folders

move you data from the original one to the one one and everything should be back

Thanks, I'm doing this. Let you know if it's OK :)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

it doesn't work. I should miss Something.
There are 14 sames files. If I overwrite the new ones with my old ones, the emunand doesnt launch at bootcold. if I do the opposite, no old content/data/save appears.

So, I forgot where I screwed. (I'm new to it)
When you unlink NANDS, you'll have 2 folders in the "Nintendo 3DS" folder. 1 for each NAND.
And I realized that after many attempts to load my SD save. In fact, I loaded everything in the SysNAND folder, breaking MenuHax Loader every time...

So, don't be dumb like me, take a breath, and try to find your EmuNAND folder to put your save. :D
Thank you guy for your help :)
