ROM Hack Noob: Booting the hacks through holding L isn't working.

Ok, so I usually boot my hacks through holding the L button upon turning my (old)3DS on. But, as of today, It won't bott up. It just goes straight to the regular HOME screen. I'm a noob and I have no idea why it's doing this. Any idea on how to fix it?

You absolutely sure your SD card is in? I often forget to put mine in after doing stuff with it.
Also make sure your SD card isn't write-protected.

If they were using menuhax the other day, then it's obvious they have it installed.

but if thare on 10.3>10.5 and if thay boot in to the real homemenu ONE'S! then menuhax is uninstalled instantly

or thay changed the theme

You are right about that. I changed my theme recently. It still worked after changing it but it doesn't work any more ;-;

anyways what Version of the menuHAX installer wer you useing? and what FW is your 3ds?

edit: well with browser hax just do it MENY trys tern off your 3ds and try agen

the internet browser is not working? or to play online is the nagging

and if it is working try like clearing you browser cookes and histery and lonching something like miimaker and then tern off your 3ds and back on it well work soon

well to stop the nagging update you can hold A R L and up on the d-pad as your 3ds terns on then say no to the update and block it with a dns like openDNS or tubeHAX

and are you geting a red screen win you boot the haxs?

no. nothing related to hax will boot. And i cant get abck into them using the browser

when i boot the browser, only the internet shows and says i need a system update to use the internet browser
