Hi.
I will have to send my N3DSXL for repair (always under warranty).

But before, for try to remove as much of possible hacks (like some cia installed to NAND) or any other traces, I want update it to 10.5 (if possible, not 10.6, because I want use BrowserHax after having recovered from the After Sales Service). I can always ask a friend for his powersave + Oot3D, but I want avoid it if I could.

So what's the safest way to update my 9.2 to 10.5? I have MenuHax ready and 9.2 SysNand.
If I really can't update to 10.5, then I will do the official update to 10.6 in settings...

Thanks!

Use sysupdater and the correct files for 10.5, I believe. Just want to be sure that you are using the proper files and it should work just fine, though I haven't personally used sysupdater for updating yet.

3DNus downloaded the 10.5.0-39E firmware without any errors (I guess). How could I know if my cia are not corrupted? BTW, I have 111 files.

after upgrading, you mean? Of course I will format it ;)
Any time, but probably it would be the best to do it after update to make it as clean as possible. Also, remove patched FIRMs and manually installed NAND files because they survive system formats.

But nand files and installed patch should be removed while updating, no?
I mean, SysUpdater will delete any title from 9.2 and reinstall them from the 10.5 update (in the update folder), no?

You're on N3ds right? The N3ds 10.5 pack I've downloaded from 3DNUS has 144 files...

EDIT: Sorry, mine is USA

Yeah, I'm on N3DS(XL)... I will try again, and also with 3DNus Mod. Maybe 144 files for you because if not for EUR.
Could you also send me your pack if it's for EUR?

Yeah, it does overwrite patched FIRMs unless they're version spoofed. If you installed dev tools to NAND, you should remove them.
