Okay so I've been gone from the 3DS Scene for awhile...I come back today to see that browserhax is working again. I was able to get into homebrew but the save manager is missing that I need to use for pokemon. I've tried searching for answers but its like..super confusing. Anyone with any info or can point me in the right direction? Would be GREATLY appreciated...

Not sure how long you have been out but if you haven't heard, you can downgrade your 3ds to 9.2 firmware and use cfw

I've been reading through recent posts and I saw that its possible to access browserhax again...Im familiar with it from using it before and I was able to use it to get into homebrew again but im just missing the save manager so i can edit my pokemon save file. You know how I could get that again?

All you need to know, is the rule still stands, and stronger than ever. DO NOT UPDATE! Your 3ds is downgradeable, to get stuff like cfw and all that junk. Even if you dont want to downgrade, and are ok with the simple userland exploit, the rule is in full effect. Updating to 10.6.0-31 patches browserhax and menuhax. 10.4.0-28 patches downgrading so stay on your firmware. Also there is a much easier way of editing pokemon saves. Search pchex for 3ds. Now it can be done directly through the 3ds.

Pchex is good. If the terminal UI bothers you then you can do what I do and use Pchex++ for moves, IVs, and EVs (Natures and Abilities work fine with it too) and just use Pchex for species editing, abilities work well in Pchex since it only lets you choose an Ability the Pokémon can have, Natures work fine in Pchex too.

You need a Hardmod to start, you can modify your NAND that sysupdater works again on 10.5 allowing you to downgrade...

Ah ok sorry. Usually people like this only want the userland though, or atleast arent radical enough for a hardmod

Honestly, i just want the savedata manager to work on the homebrew like it did before. thats all i want =[ I was able to import/export my save and edit it on pxhex on my laptop.

When I startup homebrew it doesn't show the app =/ Do you know how to get it to show it? or how to put it on the SD?
the filepath should be as follows. inside the 3ds folder, there's a pchex folder. In that is pchex.3dsx and some other stuff. Im assuming ur a n00b and you just put it on the root, tat's what usually happens

I'm referring to the savedata manager, not pchex. Im replying to James310 because it seems he knows what im speaking of. You're trying to get me to get some other app.

Oh ok i thought we were talking about the linki sent earlier, which is the pokemon save program u use ported to 3ds. The rule still apllies though. In the 3ds folder there should be a folder called save_manager. Inside that folder should be save_manager.3dsx. If those arent the exact names, change them. If the name of the 3dsx doesnt match the name of the folder it wont show up.

Ahhhh!!! That's what im missing! I don't have the save_manager folder inside the 3DS folder. Where can I get that from? Thanks for clarifying.

Okay nevermind that. I found the original files for save_manager on my pc and put them in the 3DS folder. Final thing I need to do is to install menuhax. I tried installing it but its giving me an error when i try to install it. Would you happen to have a link to menuhax files? maybe mine are old..
