Hacking Pokemon Bank and transferring Pokemon.

Is it possible to use Pokemon Bank on Emunand to transfer Pokemon from CIA installed games. I feel the answer is NO but would like to confirm? And also maybe you guys know another way to transfer pokemon from one gen to another.

well there's a pokebank homebrew in the homebrew section that allows you to transfer pkm from x/y to ORAS and vice versa.

they have yet to implement yellow to work with the homebrewbank yet. wait until moon and sun is closer to release.

The official version of PokeBank works with CIA games.

It's able to detect Pokemon X, which I installed as a CIA.

As for the Pokémon VC titles, Nintendo has yet to update PokeBank to support Red, Blue, Yellow. So you have to wait until PokeBank is updated to support them.

Homebrew one is kinda pointless though.

The point of PokeBank is that your Pokémon is saved in the cloud, so in case anything happens to your 3DS or SD card, your Pokémon is still safe.

The Homebrew version saves your Pokémon locally on your SD card, which kills the point. If it saved to a third party server or your PC (automatically), it'd be a more viable option.

Besides, it's only $5 a year.

The Homebrew version saves your Pokémon locally on your SD card, which kills the point. If it saved to a third party server or your PC (automatically), it'd be a more viable option.

Should still work, my friend dumped his Alpha Sapphire cart to a CIA, and PokeBank still detected his game.

there are legit cias of all the pokemon games that are region free. so you could use something like jks save manager to back up ur save from your current cias. then uninstall the ones you have installed, install the legit cias, restore your saves. you would then have legit cias of the pokemon games and no worry of pokebank not working

I'm fine with the official PokeBank anyways, it's only $5.

I never lose my saves, but as I stated, it defeats the whole purpose of PokeBank.

I thought the purpose was to transfer between games and give you extra space to storage your pokémon. Those 30 in-game boxes can't even store all the pokemon I have, lol.

You can also transfer items with the homebrew version.

Yeah that too. I use it to backup my Pokémon. Especially my legendaries. My Omega Ruby already corrupted on me once (way long before I knew about Homebrew). So I'm just playing it safe.

I was wondering, with the recent TWL-something hack, will it be possible to use homebrew pkbank (or something similar) for transfer the pokemons from a DS game?
